I have been looking for an old acrylic ”acoustic” indoor phone booth that were used in the 70’s and 80’s. They are considered as design objects and tend to sell for a rediculous price if in good condition. They are also very big and hard to store, so it’s not easy to find one that is in one piece and not cracked.
But I found one.
I have wanted to make a nice greenhouse/vivarium/paludarium out of one of these for a long time. Here’s the project for you.
In the beginning I was a bit puzzled on what technology I need for this thing. To get an idea of what I need, I started with making the hardscape.
The basic mass of the rockwall:
Carved with planters for some plants:
Adding a stump:
Rockwall in the making:
What I’m aiming at is creating a little paludarium with a waterfall.
More to come as I get around to it.
